Dickey’s Opens In North Richland Hills

Franchise Owner Opens His Fifth Dickey’s Location in Texas

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is opening its new location in North Richland Hills on Monday, June 4. The first 100 customers will receive a free pulled pork big barbecue sandwich.

North Richland Hills is a great location that doesn’t have any good barbecue places,” said franchise owner Shawn Boedecker. “We are excited to open.”

Shawn grew up in Lewisville and his wife Beth is from Middletown, New Jersey. This new location will be the fifth Dickey’s for the couple. The Boedeckers own and operate Dickey’s Barbecue in Roanoke, Hurst, Bedford and the North Fort Worth location on Blue Mound Road.

“Dickey’s is a great concept that allows me to bring my strengths in running a successful business to the table,” said Boedecker.

This new Dickey’s is located at 5209 Rufe Snow. Dickey’s is open from 11am to 9pm daily.

“Shawn is an enthusiastic owner who runs a great restaurant,” said Roland Dickey, Jr., president of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. “We are excited to see his continued expansion across Texas.”

Since 1941, the world’s largest barbecue franchise has offered free kids meals every Sunday and affordable family packs designed to bring the whole family together for dinner. Family packs come with a choice of two meats, three medium sides, six rolls and Dickey’s famous barbecue sauce.
